Many women are having breast milk, placentas, umbilical cords, baby teeth and locks of hair turned into resin cast jewellery, but Tracy Kiss has taken the genetic resin casting concept one step further. This London based mother of two has created jewellery out of something most of us wouldn’t even consider. Her labia.

On her blog, Tracy explained that she had extremely sensitive labia as a result of excess skin which she had removed in 2016. News.com.au reports that Tracy had been diagnosed with a cyst on her labia minora after experiencing a burning sensation after exercising. The doctor suggested labiaplasty as a solution to her ongoing issues. She asked the doctors if she could keep the off cuts as a trophy and had them sitting on a shelf in her kitchen as a conversation piece. But as the colour changed from pink to grey she felt they became a little less attractive to look at. So, she turned them into jewellery and made a video about it.

Yep, she turned her grey labia slugs into red sparkly labia slugs instead! And set them in resin to wear as a necklace.

Personally, I would have dehydrated and powdered them first and created a sort of shimmering labia galaxy style pendant. Actually, I wouldn’t make jewellery from my labia at all, but even if I would, I don’t think the sparkly labia slugs are my thing. One could argue that they look a little like shimmery lungs...

But if anyone is interested in turning their own body parts into jewellery, Tracy has left detailed instructions on her Youtube video link (above) and has even written a book about resin casting.
